Butter from Somerdale |
|
|
European
Butter is making a strong come-back with chefs and bakers all
over the States. The higher butterfat content makes it a much
creamier product than American butters, resulting in smoother
sauces and melt-in-the-mouth pastries. Chefs report that it is
much easier to work with, whipping up much more quickly and
providing a superior taste. Restaurants are also returning to
butter instead of the familiar saucers of olive oil.
Somerdale now has two traditional
English butters available. A salted and an unsalted butter are
available in 8oz packs. Typical European-style butters, these
products will certainly produce the results that there is a
rising demand for from chefs and bakers.
